1. Connect to the Blank website with a wallet that holds at least one Blank NFT.
2. Click “evolve” on the Blank NFT you wish to evolve.
3. Combine layers however you want (layers are art uploaded by the community that can be combined to form new pieces of art) and click “Evolve”.
   1. You can only evolve to a unique combination of art, ensuring each Blank NFT is unique.
4. Your evolution will be in a pending state until approximately the first of the next month, at which point the new art will be pushed on-chain.
   1. You can cancel or edit your pending evolution prior to the first of the month.
   2. Pending evolutions will only be visible on the Blank website until the first of the month (i.e. it will not be visible on OpenSea, in your wallet, etc.).
5. On the first of the month your pending evolution will be pushed on-chain.
   1. We bundle evolutions once a month to make evolving gas free for users.
6. The month you evolve in is recorded in the Blank NFT metadata. If you evolve in month one, your Blank NFT will be a “generation 1”, month two is “generation two”, etc.
7. You can evolve your Blank NFTs as many times as you like. Each time you evolve it erases the prior evolution and related metadata.
